Our group:
Saskia Smith
Emilie Bowes-Read
Rebecca Stone
For our A2 production me, Saskia and Rebecca will be working together. I am really excited about this group as I feel we will be able to create a really strong product.
I have worked with Saskia before in our AS product so know that we both have similar creative ideas and work together really well. I have not worked with Rebecca before but after seeing her AS production am really excited to see what she can bring to the table.
I feel we all have quite similar tastes but at the same time have different creatives flairs and ideas that we can bring to the table.
We are all very focused and organised students and so I feel that these skills will make the process very smooth running.

Our roles:
I wanted to leave the writing of this job roles section till after we had carried out the project so that I could look back on what everyone had done. I feel within our group we shared the roles out really equally and all pulled together to make sure we created a strong product.
Saskia used her A-level photography skills to take charge in the filming of the music video but both Rebecca and I also had a turn at it and I filmed the time lapse shots which Saskia and I had practiced in our pre-planning and which we felt were some of our strongest shots.
Rebecca took on the role of editor and did a brilliant job of it, tirelessly spending hours with both myself and Saskia to make sure all the cuts fitted the beat perfectly and that it looked professional. Again Saskia and I also had a go and I came up with the idea to do a split screen shot.

I had the role of managing locations, logistics, actors and filming. I researched the quietest London Underground stations and liaised with the Underground staff to make sure we could film there. I also found the abandoned house which we used as one of our primary locations and sourced all the actors, costumes, props, musicians and kit we needed to use as well as organising light and sound teams and booking out the hall for use at lunchtimes.
As a team we all pulled together and I think this showed in how organised we were with all our shoots and with the finished product.
